
Love Music Hate Racism - A Day of Music in Shrewsbury
On Saturday 29th April 2006 Shrewsbury town centre will be alive to the sound of rock, reggae, jazz, and other kinds of music. The day has been organised by Shrewsbury Action Against Racism in conjunction with the national 'Love Music Hate Racism' organisation.
Local bands will be playing in The Square during the day and there will be food and information stalls together with an exhibition of black and minority ethnic history in Britain.
In the evening there will be a major gig in the Music Hall with local and national rock and reggae bands, and also a Jazz Concert at the Belmont Arts Centre.
