'Working Together' is the Learning and Skills Council's (LSC) strategy for developing the work of the voluntary and community sector. The strategy aims to develop joint working across all areas by building on existing good practice. It also highlights the four key roles of voluntary and community sector organisations as:
- Providers of education and training services
- A major group of employers
- A source of expertise
- A channel for communication
'Working Together in Practice: a Toolkit to support LSC work with the Voluntary and Community Sector (2005)' is designed to enhance partnership working with organisations and deliver 'key actions'.
