Organisational Health Checks are available to community groups, voluntary organisations, charities and not-for-profit organisations.
The health check will examine how your organisation is running at different stages, such as:
- If the group has grown or reduced in size
- When you are seeking external funding
- If you are having an external review
- If you are interested in pursuing quality standards such as PQASSO
Trustee, Management Committee and managers can assess how they are doing by using the 'How to Health Check your Organisation - a DIY Style Toolkit' developed by the Community Council of Shropshire. This is a comprehensive, user-friendly, self-assessment handbook suitable for groups or organisations of any size.
The Toolkit is available at £7.50 to CCS members and £10.00 to non-members plus £4.50 postage and packing (if not collected from CCS offices). Users will receive free help and advice on how to work through the Toolkit.
